The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaborative and high-performing team, deliver best-practice clinical care, and help shape the future of infectious disease medicine in the region. Hospital with over 330 beds, serving a population of 250,000 and has a strong teaching and research ties with the University Your Role Provide expert clinical care in Infectious Diseases to inpatients and outpatients Lead and mentor a dedicated ID team and contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Conduct twice-weekly ICU ID rounds and support the Antibiotic Stewardship Program Drive quality improvement, research, and service innovation Optional: incorporate a minor Clinical Microbiology role if suitably qualified About You Fellowship in Infectious Diseases (FRACP or equivalent) Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA (SIMGs welcome to apply) Proven leadership and collaborative team-building skills Strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical governance Excellent communication and mentoring ability (Desirable) Experience or interest in microbial genomics What’s on Offer Total package up to $484,000 p.a.
