About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to fill the Workshop Technician vacancy located at our Perth Workshop. You should have a keen desire to learn and apply new skills as continuous employee development is encouraged at Konica Minolta. Requirements Key responsibilities Support the Workshop Supervisor with assembling/programming/running up of devices for clients (mainly printers of various sizes). Ensure new devices are ready for collection at pre-determined times. Support Field Service Technicians at the workshop or at customer sites as required. Ability to conduct and be responsible for stock control. Involvement in the recycling management of all workshop waste. Contribute to the workshop workflow creation and management. Contribute to a clean and safe work environment. Desired Skills and Experience Applicants must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have a genuine interest in working with technical equipment where troubleshooting skills and a professional approach are required. Self-driven and able to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to multitask and prioritise workloads. Able to take direction and use initiative (pro-active). Desire to learn and apply new skills to progress with the company to a variety of technical roles. Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and basic software is desirable however not essential as on job training will be provided.
