Overview Stantec is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to contribute to the growth and success of our Technology group in Australia. The role involves advisory and design of advanced ICT technologies for modern, smart and iconic projects, based in Adelaide, South Australia, and coordinating with other disciplines to meet client needs. Day to Day Responsibilities Provide ICT design support for our offices and projects across Australia for the design of active and passive systems, infrastructure, carrier connections, Audio-Visual services, etc. Prepare technical documents for planning, preparation of specifications and drawings, tendering and providing construction service support including testing and commissioning. Maintain strong customer relationships for the execution of projects and participate in business development. Support other Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall client satisfaction. Provide support and mentoring to junior staff members. Support clients and internal customers on technical queries. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent training in networking, computer science, cyber security, etc. Customer focus, providing bespoke solutions. Experience in the design and delivery of: Structured Cabling System, Backbone Fibre & Copper, MATV/IPTV Systems, DAS, ICN - Integrated Communications Network, IP telephony systems, Active networks, Wireless Design, Digital Signage, Large scale AV Systems (preferred), Data Centres (preferred), Defence ICT design (preferred). Knowledge of security systems, both physical and cyber would be considered beneficial but not essential. RCDD, CCNA or CISSP certifications are considered assets. Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (AS/NZS, IEC, ANSI/TIA, BICSI, IEEE, CSA, OBC, NBC). Current AGSVA Baseline clearance, or ability to obtain (must be an Australian Citizen). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to innovate based on customer and industry requirements; positive, can-do attitude; ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
