We’re seeking a Compliance Manager – Financial Services ANZ to help shape and scale compliance frameworks across consumer credit, payment systems, and licensing for a fast-moving, customer-focused business. In this role, you’ll partner closely with legal, product, risk, marketing, and engineering teams to guide regulatory compliance from concept to launch. You’ll lead risk assessments, advise on evolving obligations, and ensure compliance remains an enabler of innovation, not a blocker. What You’ll Be Doing: Provide compliance advisory across regulated credit, payments, AML governance, consumer protection, and licensing Guide business teams through new product development, regulatory changes, and marketing approvals Conduct risk assessments across products, services, and initiatives Support incident management and review potential reportable situations Embed and enhance governance and compliance frameworks across ANZ Educate teams on obligations and contribute to a strong risk-aware culture Monitor regulatory trends, track key risk metrics, and support strategic decision-making What You Can Bring to the Team: 5–7 years of experience in financial services compliance across Australia and/or New Zealand Strong knowledge of consumer credit, payment systems regulation, and licensing obligations Experience building and maintaining compliance frameworks in a fast-paced, tech-driven business Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business solutions A genuine interest in enabling safe, customer-first innovation Experience using digital tools or AI to improve compliance outcomes is a plus Tertiary qualifications in Law, Risk, or a related discipline are advantageous but not essential!
