Casual Position Overview: Private House Cleaners help our clients with: Domestic assistance such as light household cleaning and assistance that includes but is not limited to vacuuming, mopping, dusting, organising, rubbish removal and laundry assistance. No cleaning equipment is required, just a back up supply of personal protective equipment (PPE's) such as gloves, and basic disinfection spray. An allowance will be provided for this. Recording attendance through a smartphone application, as well as a summary of tasks completed. The ideal candidate would be someone who can be proactive in supporting an individual with unique needs and preferences with their daily living activities and is able to communicate well with others. They would also need to commit to work arrangements required to attend to the physical, psychological, and social support needs of our clients. - We offer flexibility for work within school hours with the casual position. Our aim is to roster with permanent shifts, so being reliable and great with communication is integral to thrive in this role. Private House Cleaners are required to have: NDIS Worker Screening Check (Mandatory). Certificate of Completion for the following modules: NDIS Worker Orientation Module. NDIS New Worker Induction. Infection Control Module. Training support can be provided to meet the pre-requisites. If wanting to diversify the role, additional training can be provided to include community access, meal preparation and low level capacity building with clients. Remuneration: Good Works for Australia pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous allowances pro rata to the jobs attended for the casual rates of a home support worker. Remuneration is divided into two sections: the base rate for disability and aged care services, and then the allowances and reimbursements. Selection Criteria: Must be free Thursday and Friday mornings from 9:00am at a minimum. Registered, road-worthy, and insured vehicle. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview. Alignment with company values. Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria referred to in the requirements.
