Multiple BHP Iron Ore sites within the Pilbara region of WA Perth based with consistent site visits Manage all aspects of the project Leveraging off successful Wharf remediation projects, continue to grow BHP Iron Ore Portfolio at Port and Mine. THE ROLE Project Management/Delivery Manage all aspects of the project including contract management, estimating, programming of work and defect rectification Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors Manage project start-up, maintain project schedule and ensure effective handover, including holding regular project management meetings Report on project success, results, progress, and deployment of activity Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements Employee Relations Foster channels of communication on site to engage with employees to create positive workforce culture Motivate project team and ensure accountable to delivering with efficiency and effectiveness Ensure employee performance reviews are completed Commercials Take ownership of all commercial aspects of project Manage and analyse project expenditure and duration Pre - Contract Ensure professional, high-quality estimates/tender bid/proposals Engage with clients and internal subject matter experts at precontract stage to understand scope, and contribute to tender process ABOUT YOU Experience in a similar role within the Mining industry Strong work history on BHP Iron Ore sites with already built relationships Demonstrated performance in project execution from beginning to end Strong ability in contract and project cost control management in the construction/mining industry Contract valuation and project forecasting knowledge.
