About the role We’re seeking an experienced and values-driven Manager to lead our Support Coordination teams across the NT. Based in Palmerston, this senior role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, person-centred services that align with NDIS Practice Standards and Somerville’s values. The role combines people leadership, service oversight, and complex case practice to drive participant outcomes, compliance, and service growth. You’ll oversee both standard and specialist support coordination, maintain a small caseload, and ensure financial sustainability, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder relationships. What you’ll be doing As Manager, Support Coordination Services, you will: Provide effective leadership, supervision, and development of a regionally based Support Coordination team. Oversee the delivery and growth of standard and specialist support coordination services, ensuring clear boundaries from other programs and compliance with NDIS requirements. Maintain a small complex caseload to model practice and stay connected to participant needs. Monitor caseloads, allocations, and billable hours to ensure quality, sustainability, and achievement of KPIs. Lead compliance and quality oversight, including audits, incident management, risk assessments, and tribunal/ART matters. Support participants and teams to prepare for NDIS plan reviews, ensuring reports are accurate, high-quality, and timely. Foster strong relationships with participants, families, the NDIA, and service providers to ensure effective coordination and clear referral pathways. Contribute to service innovation, future planning, and sector engagement. What you’ll bring You’re an experienced leader with strong practice knowledge and a passion for supporting participants to achieve meaningful outcomes. We’re looking for someone with: Relevant tertiary qualifications (social work, disability, community services) or equivalent sector experience. Proven leadership and team management experience in disability or community services. Strong knowledge of the NDIS, Support Coordination, Practice Standards, and Quality & Safeguarding Framework. Experience with compliance, incident management, audits, and service quality processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight.
