About us The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services. About the role Reporting to the General Manager, CCE, the Engagement Support Officer provides a range of assistance and support to the broader branch. This includes supporting governance, coordination, administration, data collection, reporting and project delivery. In addition, the role: Supports key stakeholder forums and other engagement activity Monitors, records, analyses and reports on community and consumer engagement Supports review(s) and continuous improvement Supports other engagement activities (or tasks) as directed by the General Manager, CCE. Key Accountabilities include Provides Community and Consumer Engagement coordination and administrative support Assists with governance process, meeting preparation, meeting packs and minute/note taking Monitors records, reports, and provides data entry coordination Provides assistance to the team across a range of activity and assists to deliver on projects About you To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate: Evidence of analytical and problem-solving skills Evidence of previous performance and achievement, including excellent organisation skills and ability to deliver high quality work Demonstrate well developed computer literacy and use of Microsoft packages and ability to adapt systems For specific responsibilities please review the attached position description.
