Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and service power steering systems on heavy vehicles, including trucks and buses. Perform on-vehicle testing and fault diagnosis of steering gears and pumps. Remove, rebuild, and replace steering components as necessary. Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Qualifications and Experience: Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Proven experience as a licensed automotive mechanic, preferably with heavy vehicles. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Valid Australian driver's licence; HR or MC licence is advantageous. Intermediate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
