As a result of project demand, they’re after a Mechanical Fitter to perform thorough evaluations of all seal configurations and generating in-depth documentation on behalf of the business and its partners. Responsibilities Disassemble, examine, and reassemble dry gas seals and seal cartridges following technical drawings and specifications.Prepare components and complete necessary paperwork for seal refurbishment.Receive and inspect all incoming dry gas seal components from storage and external suppliers.Maintain accurate records of quality control checks performed on dry gas sealsOversee the refurbishment process, including disassembly and placement of dry gas seals into testing equipment or jigs.Operate and ensure proper upkeep of machinery used for lapping, polishing, grooving, de-burring, spin testing, surface profiling, and balancing. Requirements Must either be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent resident visa.Capable of effectively managing, organising, and prioritising tasks in high-pressure situations with competing deadlines.Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Trade Qualification, or an equivalent credential.Brings at least three years of experience in a technical support or service role within the mechanical engineering field or a related industry.Must possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
