Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based care, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), to help young people thrive. Your role, your impact As a Mental Health Clinician (Allied Health – DBT-Informed), you’ll make a real difference in the lives of young people and their families. You’ll: Manage a caseload of young people under the Medicare Better Access Scheme. Deliver high-quality, flexible mental health interventions to young people aged 12–25. Support the DBT program by managing a small caseload of DBT group participants and attending weekly DBT Treatment Team meetings. Formulate and apply assessment, treatment, and evaluation processes tailored to each young person. Actively monitor risk , complete risk assessments, safety plans, and mental state examinations. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, advocating for young people and supporting their goals. Maintain accurate records and meet all Medicare Better Access Scheme requirements. Who we’re looking for You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health social work, or occupational therapy (mandatory). Current full registration with AHPRA or AASW (mandatory). Eligibility for Medicare provider registration (mandatory). Experience providing therapeutic interventions to young people. Strong knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Scheme and youth mental health. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. High computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records. What will make you stand out Experience with DBT or group-based interventions.
