The Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Team Leader to join a leading company in the automation and logistics sector. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for a electrically qualified professional who thrives on guiding a team while staying actively involved in the day to day maintenance / technical operations. It will be joining the business in a multi-site leadership role, covering 2 sites across Western Sydney, taking responsibility for the customer interaction and team onsite (4 people total), accountable for keeping the client's site functioning and operational. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4 technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on advanced equipment and systems. Ensure all equipment operates at peak efficiency by adhering to maintenance schedules and addressing technical issues promptly. Coordinate daily workloads, prioritize tasks, and ensure the team meets operational goals. Uphold and actively contribute to safety and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to company protocols and industry regulations. Report on team performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Monitoring the timely submission of required reports for customers and checking content for accuracy. Continuous improvement activities of processes in collaboration with other teams and departments. Skills, Experience, Qualifications: Previous experience managing a small team on a customer site - Construction or Maintenance Able to demonstrate previous experience managing a customer and their expectations Experience with component removal and refit and, belts, conveyors, motors and gearboxes would be highly beneficial Must hold A Grade Electrical License Hold valid driver’s license Desirable: Familiarity with programmable logic controls (PLCs) and/or experience with automated equipment. Pre employment medical, D&A and police check to be completed for employment What's in it for you?
