About the Role Join a high-performing HR Services team, supporting over 600 employees. You’ll be responsible for running end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance, and providing expert advice across a range of payroll-related matters. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume fortnightly payroll in CHRIS21 Handle leave calculations , deductions, super, and tax Reconcile timesheets and end-of-month reports Respond to complex payroll queries with excellent service Interpret and apply Enterprise Agreement provisions Ensure compliance with legislation, policies , and procedures Support Chris21 updates and assist in system improvements Prepare reports and assist with audits and internal projects Liaise with internal stakeholders including HR and Finance What You’ll Bring Extensive experience with CHRIS21 – essential Strong knowledge of Victorian Government payroll processes Great attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to manage high-volume processing Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience with WorkCover , garnishee orders, and payroll tax A proactive mindset and focus on continuous improvement Qualifications & Requirements Relevant degree or equivalent experience highly regarded Previous experience in the public sector is preferred Must have full Australian working rights Why Join?
