The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in finance and payroll systems, particularly PeopleSoft, Aurion, and TechnologyOne. These projects focus on enterprise resource planning (ERP) uplift, system integration, and digital modernisation. The Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will: Lead and facilitate workshops to gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, process models, and design artefacts Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and testers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented effectively Support ERP system integration, data migration, and configuration activities Develop and maintain documentation including workflows, system design documents, test cases, and implementation guides Ensure solutions align with compliance, assurance, and performance standards The Ideal Person You are a highly skilled Business Analyst with proven experience across ERP/finance systems, particularly PeopleSoft, Aurion, and TechnologyOne. You thrive in structured and Agile environments and are adept at bridging business and technology teams to deliver robust solutions. You will bring: Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large, complex ICT programs Strong background in ERP/finance system analysis, integration, and data migration Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft, Aurion, or TechnologyOne implementations Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted stakeholder relationships Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills across business and technical teams Familiarity with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or DevOps Excellent documentation skills, including requirements, workflows, and data models Bonus if you have: Prior experience in ERP implementation or modernisation projects within government BABOK/IIBA certification or similar industry qualifications Experience working in secure government environments Please note this opportunity is only open to Australian Citizen’s with minimum Baseline Clearance as per the requirement of the Federal Government.
