We are looking for a technologist officer to work closely with our decision partners in the directorate and Digital, Data and Technology Solutions technical resources, to undertake requirements analysis with strategic agility, high level presentation skills and business acumen and provide trusted technical advice. The technologist officer will provide information on emerging technology as it relates to future requirements of existing directorate business systems and will undertake requirement analysis and present findings for the advancement of technology improvement to directorate business system owners. The technologist officer will initiate project engagements, including scoping requirements, preparing documentation and manage and deliver on Tier 3 (minor) application and infrastructure projects according to pre-defined procedures while using available tools. Eligibility/Other requirements: A current ACT Government CMTEDD issued Personnel Vetting Program certificate (Baseline clearance equivalent) is required for this position, or the ability to obtain and maintain one. Formal qualifications in information technology and ITIL would be highly regarded. Project management certification in Prince2, PMBoK or similar would be highly regarded.
