Role Overview Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the Sales Excellence Manager is responsible for supporting the sales teams by driving the continuous improvement of sales processes, playbooks, tools, and systems within the industrial distribution business enabling a Sales Center of Excellence. This role focuses on enhancing sales effectiveness and efficiency, and data-driven decision-making to enable the sales organisation to achieve revenue and growth objectives. The Sales Excellence Manager collaborates cross-functionally to identify opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure seamless execution of sales strategies in alignment with overall business goals. This position works to optimise CRM across the Sales function and provides data driven insights to support and enable sales success. Key Responsibilities: Optimise CRM systems to improve data quality, reporting, and sales team engagement. Develop and implement Sales Playbooks and support their adoption across the organisation. Drive continuous improvement of sales processes, tools, and systems to boost productivity. Provide data-driven insights to enable decision-making and sales success. Collaborate with GMs, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations) to deliver outcomes. Partner with sales teams to build capability and enhance customer-centric ways of working. Support transformational initiatives that streamline processes and improve customer experience. Influence and align sales capability across 500–600 salespeople, ensuring consistent execution. Candidate Profile You are an experienced sales operations, enablement, or transformation professional with a proven track record of driving sales process improvements, CRM optimisation, and capability uplift. Ideally, you have worked in B2B, industrial distribution, or comparable sales-driven environments and can demonstrate how your initiatives have delivered measurable commercial outcomes. You are highly analytical, with strong business improvement and change management experience. You use data-driven insights to influence sales strategies and improve customer outcomes, while ensuring disciplined adherence to processes, playbooks, and CRM systems. You are customer-centric, collaborative, and a strong communicator who can build meaningful relationships with senior leaders, GMs, and sales teams. With humility and curiosity, you thrive on learning, knowledge sharing, and enabling others. You bring a measured, professional approach, underpinned by commercial discipline and the ability to influence capability across a large, dispersed sales organisation.
