In this role, you'll: Work as part of the Digital Systems Business Integration team in our Rail Operations division, leading and supporting the workstreams for the integration of Digital Systems into the Sydney Trains business. You will lead and manage a team of technical experts/engineers to manage the resolution of technical issues and work towards a solution, including gaining the support of stakeholders and developing detailed test scenario plans for the Operational and Reliability Demonstration phase of the project. You will also provide technical expertise into technical and risk assessment documents and presentation materials across the Digital Systems program and manage the development of engineering procedures required by the Engineering and Maintenance branch for implementation of the system. About you You are a self-motivated and driven individual with a tertiary qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline e.g. Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software, Mechatronics or similar, with experience in ETCS L2 and the integration of complex signalling systems. You have familiarity and experience with railway safety systems (e.g. signalling, train control, rollingstock, telecommunications) and national/international safety standards including Rail Safety National Law and the risk management framework applied by Sydney Trains. You have a working knowledge of undertaking system safety hazard identification, assessment and analysis activities. Your strong stakeholder management skills will see you effectively work with all level stakeholders to gain agreement and resolve issues, and ultimately successfully support system integration and knowledge transfer of Digital Systems into Sydney Trains.
