Reporting to the National Diocesan Director Manager , this role is instrumental in strengthening relationships across Australian Catholic d iocese s , supporting our Diocesan Directors to animate the vision and mission of Caritas Australia at the local diocesan level Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Strengthen alignment across the Diocesan Director network through effective communication, meetings and the coordination of Caritas Australia and diocesan social and ecological justice led activities. Champion the growth of the Parish Representative Program . Develop resources and materials to assist Diocesan Directors in raising awareness and deliver ing i mpactful fundraising and advocacy campaigns. Support the onboarding of new Diocesan Directors and ensure accurate record keeping to maintain a well-connected and informed network. This role is based in our M elbourne office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week . Who are we looking for ? The successful candidate will have a deep commitment to Caritas Australia’s mission to end poverty and injustice by promoting human dignity for all, as well as a dedication to the principles of Catholic Social Teaching that guide our global efforts. They will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience: A deep understanding of Catholic Social Teaching, with the ability to create faith-based resources, prayers and activities. A tertiary qualification in Communicatio n , Business Administration, Education , or Community Engagement - or equivalent experience through work or volunteering in mission-aligned settings A proactive and compassionate approach, able to support and connect meaningfully with our Diocesan Directors. Strong communication and organisation skills, takes initiative and can manage competing priorities. Confident with digital tools and creating impactful written content and multimedia resources for diverse audiences.
