Delivering small – medium civil infrastructure projects SEQ projects – current project in Brisbane Tight knit & experienced team, with good mentors that deliver good results This an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team working for a privately QLD owned civil engineering construction company who work within resources, local authorities and main roads projects across QLD, Norther NSW and remote areas. Led by a team of highly experienced professionals, the company ensures personal growth and hands on site-based experience. As Site Engineer you will help deliver TMR & Council projects in South East QLD anywhere up to $20M. Scope of works includes earthworks, drainage, services and road works. You will work closely with an experienced Project Engineer undertaking Quality Assurance and additional tasks stated below. Reporting into the Project Manager on the day to day running of the site including the following responsibilities: Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Programming and daily planning Quality Assurance management Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met The successful individual must have at least 1 – 2 years main roads TMR, Council or other relevant main roads experience with additional civil construction experience. The role offers an excellent initial package, and you will either be based locally in Brisbane. After this project travel may be required in the surrounding region (dependent on project). This is a great opportunity for a Site Engineer with exposure and responsibilities towards project management. To be successful you must be eager, strong communication skills, managing subcontractors and organised with daily planning. Also have a proven track record of delivering roads projects for a civil contractor in similar conditions.
