We have a newly created opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated DRIVER TRAINER to join our Team. This role will be based at the Port of Brisbane. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will be responsible for safely and efficiently onboarding new employees, manage inductions for drivers and ensure drivers adhere to strict compliance of all OHS and other workplace policies. What your day can look like (not limited to): Set up new employees with MT Data, Container Chain, Solv and Border Force Complete and record all driver training assessments for the following: All ACFS site inductions, ensure completion of training assessments - Heavy Vehicle Operation, Hitch and Unhitching, Fatigue, Retractable trailer operation, Roll back A trailer operation, Vehicle and Trailer Inspection, Mass Management, Driver Handbook, IAP Weights, MT Data, Track Axle, Side loader and Load Restraint. Ensure, maintain and update driver training register and records of ACFS training and compliance MT Data daily repairs and issues Support Compliance as required to issue nonconformance letters to drivers and have signed All driver training and inductions of new equipment Driver inductions for client sites Compile all insurance documents to complete insurance forms Support Transport team as and when required Report any issues and accidents to the Transport Manager What you can bring to us: Must have 5 Logistics and Transport industry experience managing drivers and business. Must have extensive knowledge of COR, Fatigue, Mass Management and Load restraint processes and policies.
