Sunstate Cement is looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime. What you'll be doing Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment Fault-find and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, fans, and other machinery Support projects, shutdowns, and plant upgrades Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster and occasional weekend work What we're looking for Mechanical Trade qualification (Fitter & Turner or equivalent) Experience with plant/machinery maintenance (compressors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Knowledge of WHS in heavy industry Team player who can also work independently IT skills: MS Office and asset management software Essential Licences / Certifications (essential or willing to obtain): Qld Driver’s Licence HRW Forklift & CB Bridge Crane Working at Heights / EWP Dogging & Basic Rigging Confined Space, HV Functional Switching, Low Voltage Rescue First Aid / CPR MSIC What we offer At Sunstate Cement, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
