We're seeking an accomplished, hands-on Accounting professional to join the next phase of growth for a multi-division financial services and family office group. This is a newly created role that will evolve with the business - perfect for someone who enjoys elevating reporting, strengthening controls, and delivering real decision support across diverse business units while remaining sleeves-rolled-up in the detail and developing a small, capable team. Key Responsibilities Own month-end reporting and financial close processes across multiple entities - deliver accurate management packs with variance analysis and clear insights that drive business decisions Lead annual budgets, cash flow forecasting and scenario planning for growth, pricing and investment decisions, including budget preparation and forecast modelling for data-driven business cases Modernise reporting that leadership actually relies on, and strengthen financial controls and reconciliations across Xero/MYOB platforms with BAS compliance and streamlined workflows Oversee and develop finance team members, coaching for accuracy and efficiency while stepping in hands-on during peak periods Partner with executive group on consolidations, financial statements preparation and financial oversight of related investment entities, including performance analysis and strategic guidance What You'll Bring CA or CPA qualified with management reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience across multi-entity consolidations or portfolio management Business intelligence and data visualisation skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms) for dashboard creation and automation, plus strong Xero/MYOB experience for operations and consolidations Strong technical skills in cash flow management, variance analysis, and financial close processes with experience in income tax compliance and payroll tax High EQ with a track record of enabling change, stakeholder management and supporting business growth across diverse business environments Team-focused approach with hands-on experience in both technical work and mentoring, ideally with multi-entity or diverse business experience Why This Role Step into a senior finance position where you'll contribute to reporting, systems and strategy in a group that values both technical mastery and commercial creativity.
