COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER - CONTRACT SOUTH OF THE RIVER IMMEDIATE START - 3 WEEK CONTRACT WITH POSSIBLE EXTENSION $48-$55 PER HOUR DEP ON EXPERIENCE The Communications Officer position is responsible for driving the successful maintenance and development of online and digital communication channels to support and enhance the Company's ability to communicate, engage and service the community. Website: Update, create and manage content for the corporate website (Silverstripe - CMS) in liaison with internal stakeholders. Oversee hosting and technical management of the website Identify functionality, accessibility, and user experience improvements to the website; work with website contractor to implement as directed. Oversee the development and implementation of the new website Monitor and provide web analytics reports on site performance to internal stakeholders as required. Monitor and update third party websites that contain information to ensure content is current. Maintain brand integrity when managing website content (e.g. consistent forms, standards, and templates). Coordinate internal digital working group focused on maximising the functionality of the website to enhance user experience Social Media Manage, edit, and produce content for the corporate social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) that builds engagement Moderate and coordinate responses to engagement received through the corporate social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn). Support internal stakeholders to enhance community consultation through the effective utilisation of social media / online tools. Monitor trending topics on social media and inform appropriate internal stakeholders. Develop targeted social media strategies and campaigns as required Coordinate production of video and photographic content Monitor and provide social media analytics reports focusing on growth and engagement E-newsletters Produce monthly Off the Shelf enewsletter Produce other enewsletters as required. Monitor and report on enewsletter readership and performance and adjust delivery as required. Essential: Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and testing of online forms. Experience and knowledge of best practice in the field of web development including: HTML, Photoshop, and content writing. Web design principles and trends. Experience in the operation of online content management systems. Demonstrated experience using social media platforms. Sound knowledge of graphic design principles, techniques, trends, and best practice. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills and experience. "C" class driver's license.
