Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Install culverts of multiple sizes, ranging from 600 millimeters to 3.6 meters in diameter. Setting up lasers and lines for excavator operators, checking levels in trenches. Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Slinging and guiding pipes into their final position and assisting with backfill. Install and repair below ground water drainage systems. Including sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems Inspect existing drainage systems to identify issues and recommend repairs or upgrades. Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify the cause of drainage problems. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate IV and 1 year work experience or at least 3 years of experience. Ability to interpret site drawings and plans to install drainage lines. Ability to check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Good working knowledge of how to work out grades for drainage lines. Demonstrate a commitment to a safety culture. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $87,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
