9 month role Based across multiple sites - Brisbane, Bundaberg and Rockhampton Eden Ritchie Recruitment is seeking a driven and effective Project Implementation Manager to join a key Queensland Government department. You will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to deliver implementation of an electronic rostering solution for predominantly nurses and midwives. An ‘ideal candidate’ would be someone who can demonstrate the following: • Strong background in successfully managing and delivering complex organisational-wide ICT-enabled business change management projects. • Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools. • Well-developed leadership and team management skills, and experience in building and sustaining high profile multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage influence and connect with others and build positive productive internal and external working relationships, often remotely. • Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools. • Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of HR and roster-to-payroll workflow processes and systems. Travel and Accommodation Requirements The home base for the role is Brisbane, however, Intrastate travel is a requirement for Brisbane-based applicants. Multiple concurrent implementations are planned, and that the successful candidate may be assigned to multiple sites, for varying durations, throughout their engagement which requires them to live away from their principal place of residence. Where required, suitable accommodation and flights will be arranged and frequency of reunion visits (return to Brisbane) will be negotiated with each contractor upon commencement and may be weekly.
