Your Impact As our Packaging Reliability & Maintenance Manager , you’ll be the hands-on technical leader driving packaging performance at Wulkuraka . You’ll take ownership of a group of critical assets and lead the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and operational frameworks that lift equipment reliability and performance. Your work will directly influence the safety, quality, and efficiency of our packaging lines - shaping how we maintain, improve, and future-proof our assets. Whether you're building new SOPs, guiding change across maintenance and production, or supporting operator development, you’ll play a pivotal role in unlocking potential across the site. Key Responsibilities Own performance and reliability of assigned packaging machinery. Build and maintain maintenance strategies, standards, and SOPs across equipment groups. Optimise preventative and corrective maintenance plans; support long-term and shutdown planning. Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to identify and close skill gaps. Troubleshoot and resolve technical breakdowns; lead root cause investigations (RCA, 5 Whys, PDCA). Support new product implementation and ensure equipment schematics and changeover processes are up to date. Assist in CAPEX projects and End-of-Life (EOL) strategy rollouts. Analyse asset performance, spare part holdings, and backlog data to inform decision-making. Engage with OEMs, vendors, and internal technical experts across BU and global teams. About You You’re a curious, improvement-focused leader who thrives on building systems and guiding others through them. You can zoom out to develop strategy and dive in to solve issues. We’re looking for someone with: Leadership experience in packaging/FMCG environments Deep understanding of maintenance frameworks and standards Proven experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and autonomous maintenance routines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid communication skills and a coaching mindset Familiarity with SAP and reliability-based maintenance systems beneficial Comfort working with ambiguity and managing competing priorities A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Engineering Why Asahi Beverages?
