The key duties of the position include The Role This position works in a complex operating environment as part of NCB, which is headquartered in Adelaide. This position supports the implementation and delivery of continuous shipbuilding and is an integral part of the Logistic Support area within NCB. The logistics directorate goals are to deliver the NCB capability efficiently and effectively, and to continuously improve strategies and processes. Duties Include: Perform CoA compliance & assurance activities against all relevant Business Process Monitoring (BPM) controls. Support data analytics. Provide Logistics support through ERP (SAP) and Excel as required. Maintain accountability and control of GFE assets during transition phases through assurance processes. Support the supply, storage and redistribution efforts of waterfront stores. Support data validation & remediation activities in support of Naval Projects and Programs. Support codification and cataloguing efforts. Supervise and perform NCB disposal activities. Maintain accountability and control of GFE assets during transition phases. Participate in the analysis, rectification and design of Maritime Supply Chain (MSC) processes. Manage ERP FE and SLOC locations. Support team with ERP training requirements. About our Team Naval Construction Branch (NCB) is accountable for the assurance of ship construction, set-to work and transit of vessels constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard and Henderson precinct. We are headquartered in Osborne, SA and have a detachment in Henderson, WA and a smaller presence in Port Macquarie, NSW. NCB is furthering continuous naval shipbuilding and growing sovereign capability by overseeing the construction to ensure quality and standards are met, storing lessons learnt and developing standard shipbuilding procedures for construction. NCB will oversee the construction of many different Navy vessels including Offshore Patrol Vessels, Hunter Class Frigates, Young Endeavour, Evolved Cape Class and Pacific Patrol Boats. Working at NCB will enable you to be at the grassroots of continuous naval shipbuilding, where you are part of a working shipyard, being able to see and contribute to the vessels delivered and used in service by Navy.
