The key duties of the position include The Role We are seeking to fill the Business Support Officer to the GWEO Portfolio, Project and Product Management Services team. The Business Support Officer provides key business support services to the Directorate and works closely with other business support teams across GWEO Systems Division. The Business Support Officer will: Support the day-to-day coordination of tasking, administrative and business support activities across P3MS directorates, and determine appropriate course of action to meet requirements. Apply the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to provide advice and services for a range of complex corporate, administration and business support activities. Is accountable for organising the P3MS team's workflow and events, making independent decisions to ensure a coordinated and seamless rhythm is maintained. Is required to engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice on issues in order to achieve directed work outcomes. Work collaboratively, build and sustain effective relationships and provide constructive feedback. Take the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives, provide advice and guidance on more complex issues. Plan, manage and perform corporate support and administration activities including support to task management, secretariat for executive meetings, coordinating team records management, quality assurance, governance, human resources, and/or travel requirements.
