We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Café Coordinator to lead our café operations, guide and mentor student baristas, and help shape a welcoming, inclusive space in the heart of our Noosa community. How You Will Make an Impact: As Café Coordinator, you'll take the lead on day-to-day operations and ensure exceptional service every step of the way: ✔️ Oversee smooth daily café operations ✔️ Deliver warm, friendly service that keeps our customers coming back ✔️ Ensure food and beverage quality through continuous feedback and improvement ✔️ Mentor and train student baristas, helping them grow their skills and confidence ✔️ Supervise casual staff and foster a collaborative team environment ✔️ Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism and care ✔️ Prepare food and beverages, including coffee, tea, baked goods, and sandwiches ✔️ Ensure food handling and hygiene practices meet safety standards What You Will Bring: ✔️Proven experience as a barista and team leader ✔️ Experience in training or mentoring others in a café or hospitality setting ✔️ Sound knowledge of food safety standards and compliance (Safe Food Handling) ✔️ A genuine passion for hospitality and community impact ✔️ Ability to coordinate a small team with strong leadership and communication skills ✔️ A current Working with Children Check What we offer: The Salvos offer eligible employee's a well-balanced package of meaningful benefits including: Access to EAP and health & wellness initiatives Ongoing training and development opportunities that enhance on the job skills and proficiency.
