About the role As the Social Content Producer for our homes titles, you'll be at the forefront of digital storytelling across Australian House & Garden, Country Style, and Belle magazines. This maximum term full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to create engaging social media content that showcases the best in Australian homes, design, and interior inspiration. You'll work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, bringing creative campaigns to life while staying ahead of social media trends and platform innovations. Based in Sydney, you'll be part of Are Media's dynamic Content team focused on delivering compelling content across multiple digital platforms. Duties Develop original, platform-specific content including graphics, videos, stories, and copy for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and emerging platforms Schedule, publish, and monitor content across multiple brand accounts while maintaining consistent brand voice and visual identity Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner, fostering positive community relationships Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities to inform content strategy Track and analyze social media metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to optimize content performance Work closely with editorial, marketing, and design teams to align social content with broader campaign objectives and brand initiatives Provide real-time social media coverage for events, launches, and breaking news relevant to brand audiences Skills and experience Experience with content creation, video editing and basic photography skills Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards Creative mindset with strong attention to detail Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills Passion for homes, interiors, design, and architecture content Are Media is a proud member of Media Diversity Australia, a not-for-profit organisation working towards a media landscape that looks and sounds like Australia.
