Role Overview This is an opportunity to be part of an iconic project in the Territory. As Senior Contracts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful project delivery through the effective management of all contract processes — from preparation and negotiation to administration and close-out. This role requires a strong focus on and deep understanding of contracts, subcontract agreements, and contract notices, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual obligations. You will be instrumental in controlling project costs, leading negotiations with subcontractors, and providing expert contract administration across the full project lifecycle — from commencement through to handover. Key Responsibilities Interpret design documentation and specifications to develop clear scopes of work and procurement packages. Prepare tender documentation, manage subcontractor quotes, and oversee selection and award processes. Draft, review and negotiate contracts, including terms, conditions, and financial obligations. Manage budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and approval of subcontractor and supplier invoices. Monitor contractual compliance, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies during project delivery. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and resolve contractual or commercial disputes. Maintain accurate contract records and deliver timely reports on status, progress and financial performance. Drive operational improvements through contract analysis and innovative management strategies. Skills And Experiences What We’re Looking For 5–10 years’ experience in contract administration (upstream and downstream) on projects valued at $10–20M. Proven track record delivering projects from start to handover. Strong expertise in drafting and managing complex contracts, subcontractor agreements, and contract notices. Defence industry experience (highly desirable) and cross-cultural awareness for sensitive international contracts. In-depth knowledge of contract lifecycle management, compliance, and risk mitigation. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in contract management software (e.g. Procore) and Microsoft Office, with a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field. Ready to Take the Next Step?
