About the role The North West Hospital Maternity Unit is the referral centre for all pregnant women in the region and for a small Northern Territory community. The Clinical Midwife Clinical Facilitator (CMCF) role provides expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for women and babies with a variety of conditions and supports a safe care environment through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence-based woman and baby focused care, education, leadership, and portfolio management. In addition, the CMCF will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), and other non-registered personnel in more complex situations. Requirements Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
