Tell me more This position will operate from a flexible, family centred, transdisciplinary model that is responsive to cultural context, local needs, and priorities. It specifically requires the incumbent to have qualifications (minimum Cert. IV) and experience in either early childhood, disability, health, or education. The Early Childhood Approach (ECA) is a component of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in which children aged 0-9 years who have a developmental delay or disability can access early intervention supports as well as long term disability supports where eligible. The purpose of this role is to deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach in the Torres and Northern Peninsula Area as a member of the multidisciplinary NDIS ECA team. The Early Childhood Coordinator will play a key role implementing the NDIS Early Childhood Framework with particular emphasis on delivering Early Connections for children, family, carers, and communities.
