Our global Market Access teams are responsible for understanding and satisfying market access, policy, funding, and advocacy requirements in each country. They research and analyze key markets in terms of reimbursement and funding, existing and emerging payer policies, competitive landscape, relevant trends in the healthcare sector, pricing, tendering, contracting strategies, and any potential barriers to providers and patient access. Where you come in: As Sr Manager of Market Access, Policy and Advocacy for Australia and New Zealand, you will be an integral part of the APAC market access team and participate in APAC-wide strategy development and execution. You will have a particular responsibility to support Australia and New Zealand in leading reimbursement expansion and value-based access programs. Areas of accountability include: You will be creating and delivering a positive access and policy environment for Dexcom technology, leading HTA/guideline submissions, value-based funding programs, involvement in policy development, payer engagement, sitting on local and regional industry bodies, etc. You will work closely with the Regional Access teams to establish appropriate evidence needs, including health economic and RWE data, construct and implement strategies for optimising reimbursement and product positioning. You will also be responsible for establishing, fostering and leading interactions between Dexcom and government entities while developing programs and activities to support this work. Reporting to the Director of APAC Access, Policy and Advocacy, you will work closely with and have responsibilities to the General Manager of Australia and New Zealand. You will work collaboratively with and have the support of the Health Economics and Outcomes Research, and Integrated Evidence Planning teams to support the delivery of Market Access, Policy and Advocacy objectives. What makes you successful: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard and must have the following qualities/qualifications: You have education and experience in a relevant field, e.g. HTA, Health Policy, Value Base Access programs, Health Economics and Tendering You have knowledge of market access for pharmaceutical or medical devices, experience in the diabetes field would be highly preferred You have the ability to create and execute strategic market access strategies, in line with long-term company goals You can design and deliver strategic value communications for payers and HCPs, aligned with value-based principles to inform decision-making and enhance stakeholder engagement. You have a strong track record of working in the Australian and New Zealand market access field You have significant experience in working with payer bodies resulting in successful reimbursement outcomes You are experienced in creating and maintaining advocacy networks You are experienced in working with policymakers and managing consultants You have business/marketing or sales experience and the ability to link this insight to funding and reimbursement objectives You have experience working and contributing within a matrix organization, including global and national Market Access teams. You have the ability to speak and present effectively before groups of external stakeholders or employees of the organisation. You have to ability to read and interpret policy documents and procedure documents You have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence You are able to speak and present effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organisation.
