Description About the role We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Investor Relations Manager to join our Real Estate Capital Markets team at QIC. This newly created role will act as a central conduit between QIC’s Real Estate division and our strategic investors and consultants. You’ll be responsible for managing and deepening relationships, coordinating investor engagement, and representing QIC’s real estate capabilities across a range of channels. This is a full-time role based in either Brisbane or Sydney, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Key responsibilities: Act as the central point of contact for investor correspondence across the Real Estate platform. Develop and execute multi-layered engagement plans for existing and prospective investors. Coordinate with internal teams including Fund Managers, Capital Markets, Client Services & Capital (CSC), and corporate functions to deliver strategic investor communications. Lead internal preparation for investor meetings and reviews, ensuring alignment and consistency. Manage investment-related responses, marketing collateral, due diligence, and reporting. Represent QIC Real Estate in formal portfolio reviews and investor presentations. Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy. Maintain accurate records in QIC’s CRM system and ensure timely follow-up on action items. Contribute to leadership and collaboration across the Real Estate and CSC teams. About you You’re a confident communicator with a strong, demonstrable understanding of the real estate sector and a passion for building trusted relationships. You bring charisma, gravitas, and a client-first mindset, and you’re comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments. You’re organised, proactive, and able to synthesise complex information into clear, compelling communications. To succeed in this role, you will have: Proven experience in real estate and client relationship management. Deep knowledge of the real estate asset class, including retail, office, industrial, and residential. Strong understanding of the funds management and superannuation investment landscape. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. High-level commercial acumen and strategic thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management and organisational capabilities. Relevant qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or Business Management.
