Job Description The Opportunity As we continue to expand our pipeline of major water infrastructure projects across NSW, we are seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Water to lead the successful delivery of large-scale works. This is a strategic leadership role where you will oversee construction activities, drive safe and efficient delivery, and ensure works are completed to the highest quality, schedule, and budget standards. The role provides exposure to some of the most complex and technically challenging water projects in Australia. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and management of construction activities on major water infrastructure projects. Lead site-based delivery teams, including project engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Develop and implement construction methodologies, staging plans, and risk mitigation strategies. Oversee subcontractor procurement and management, driving performance across safety, cost, quality, and program. Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including client representatives, local authorities, and internal senior management. Promote and embed a strong safety culture across all construction operations. Provide mentoring and leadership to engineers and supervisors, building future capability within the team. Required Skills and Competencies Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Extensive experience in construction management on large-scale water or civil infrastructure projects . Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary delivery teams on complex works. Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, with experience managing major subcontract packages. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and represent the business at a senior level. Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental best practices. Why Join Us?
