Perfect step-up for an experienced Support Worker ready to move into team management —you’ll get coaching, structure, and ownership of one house to build your leadership craft. What you’ll do Own participant documentation — keep risk assessments and participant profiles current, accurate, and actioned. Be the on-call lead — provide guidance and decision-making for urgent issues. Coordinate client care — liaise with healthcare providers and allied health ; book and follow up on appointments; communicate changes to the team. Run team meetings — set agendas, track actions, and maintain momentum. Manage support workers — conduct regular informals and check-ins , coach performance, and uphold practice standards. Handle leave & admin — process leave requests , approve timesheets , and keep records tidy. Keep the house humming — oversee house maintenance and escalate repairs promptly. Recruit & onboard — manage new hires , schedule buddy shifts , and ensure a confident handover to the roster. Capture the work — complete meeting minutes for all stakeholder meetings and circulate actions. Build safe, reliable coverage — lead rostering to ensure skill-matched, person-centred shifts. About you Experienced in disability or community services, ideally in a house or SIL setting. Calm, organised, and proactive — comfortable making decisions on-call. Strong communicator who can coach, give feedback, and bring teams together. Paperwork-proud: you keep documents compliant and up to date. Tech-steady: confident with rostering/timesheet systems and basic Office/Google tools. Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport. Highly regarded (or willing to obtain): NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC (if applicable), First Aid/CPR, medication competency, infection control.
