The Opportunity: We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced leader to guide our Children’s Therapeutic Services team. This role blends leadership with hands-on practice, supporting counsellors and directly engaging with children and families. You’ll help shape a culture of safety, growth, and healing—grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. Key Responsibilities: Lead and nurture a collaborative, high-performing team Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development Maintain a small caseload and support complex cases Ensure child-centred, responsive service delivery Drive continuous improvement and program evaluation Uphold safeguarding and safety policies What You’ll Bring: Essential: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or similar 3 years’ experience in children’s therapeutic services Strong leadership and team-building skills Expertise in trauma-informed and attachment-based counselling Risk management and stakeholder engagement experience Desirable: Leadership experience & Exposure to the not-for-profit sector Familiarity with Commonwealth or Territory-funded programs Requirements: NT Working with Children Check & National Criminal History Check NT Driver’s License Willingness to travel remotely Commitment to Safeguarding Children policies If you are interested in this opportunity, apply now or give Rell a call on 08 8982 1047 to find out more.
