The About Our client is on a mission to set the gold standard in service-driven chilled food distribution. Their WA branch is still growing—fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes a little messy—which makes it the perfect time to join them and shape its future. We're not looking for someone who just wants to sit in a truck or behind a desk. We want someone who can lead from the front, drive when needed, coordinate like a pro, and grow. The Opportunity We’re hiring a Dispatch Coordinator who thrives in a hands-on, leadership-focused environment. This role is crucial to their WA branch operations—leading morning load outs, covering runs when needed, coordinating drivers, and keeping the daily wheels turning smoothly. You’ll be working closely with the team as part of a tight-knit trio, helping build something strong from the ground up. The Tasks Ahead Lead daily truck loadouts, ensuring all runs are out by 7:30–8:00am Step into a truck when needed—covering sick days, peak demand, or extra runs Coordinate driver schedules, provide support, and manage on-the-fly changes Use Outlook, Excel, and shared run sheets for daily planning and reporting Assist with inventory coordination, dispatch administration, and basic warehouse tasks Become a go-to person for problem-solving when things don’t go to plan Open the branch on early mornings (starting between 4:30–5:00am) and set the tone for the day About You You’re someone who: Leads by example, not job titles—happy to roll up your sleeves, help a driver, or handle a delivery Keeps a cool head under pressure and doesn’t shy away from a curve ball Takes pride in getting the job done and supporting the team Is resilient enough to earn trust, especially from more traditional team members Understands that great service = great business—you’re a coordinator, but also a customer advocate Has growth in your sights, but is focused on nailing the now before reaching for the next step Key Requirements Must-haves (Non-Negotiables): MR licence (and willing to drive runs when required) Physically capable—able to lift up to 20kg; must pass medical and police check Comfortable with early morning starts and leading from the front Confident with Excel, Outlook, and warehouse systems (training provided) Reliable and trustworthy—you’ll often be the first in the building Nice-to-haves (We’ll Support You to Learn): Forklift licence (preferred, but re-licensing can be arranged if previously held) Experience in chilled food, FMCG, courier, or logistics industries Familiarity with WHS, food safety, and basic people coordination (we’ll train the right attitude) The Benefits $75–80k salary, with flexibility for the right fit Stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential (think: Inventory or Ops Manager down the line) Supportive leaders who value team culture and hands-on contribution The chance to make a real impact in a growing branch—not just maintain the status quo Licensing and upskilling support available where needed Be part of a company where drivers and dispatch aren’t just delivery—they’re brand ambassadors If you’re ready to be more than a number, and want to help build something that matters— apply now . Let’s get moving. PLEASE NOTE. Only applicants residing in WA with full Australian working rights will be reviewed.
