Your work will help enable better lives as you guide your team along side your Business Manager to provide support to young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment. The role You'll be empowering and motivating Youth Support Workers to drive the very best outcomes for their clients. Your teams' success is what drives you, so sharing your knowledge through mentoring and coaching will be important, supporting them to hit their KPIs. You'll also lead by example, engaging with your own clients to provide tailored employment services. What makes a great Senior Youth Support Worker? What we need from you: Previous management and leadership experience Ability to coach, motivate and provide guidance A creative problem solver who can tackle complex issues as they arise. Ability to establish strong relationships with Community organisations, Schools and RTO’s Willing to complete a Criminal History Check Working with Children Check (Blue card) A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle Ideally you will hold a Cert IV Youth Work, Cert IV Employment Services or Cert IV Community Services or higher or equivalent (if you don’t hold formal qualifications, you must be happy to obtain).
