Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Play Therapist, requiring some work from home but based in Melbourne sites located in northern suburbs ( Craigieburn, Doreen and Wallan). The Play Therapist will work with children and adolescents, providing play therapy sessions to support mental and emotional wellbeing. Day-to-day tasks include assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing tailored therapy plans, and collaborating with other professionals and family members to ensure holistic support for clients. Additionally, the therapist will maintain client records, evaluate progress, and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Qualifications graduate degree in Play Therapy with knowledge in early childhood development Creative therapy and Child Therapy skillsExperience in Working With ChildrenExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamRelevant academic qualifications in play therapy, psychology, counseling, or a related fieldRegistration with relevant professional bodies (APTA)
