Role Information Position: Property Litigation Lawyer Type: Full-time, On-site Location: Melbourne, VIC The Property Litigation Lawyer will handle a diverse range of property disputes, including advisory and disputes work. Key responsibilities include: Providing practical legal advice Conducting legal research Preparing and reviewing legal documents Representing clients in court Negotiating settlements Providing advice to clients This role involves working closely with clients and collaborating with other legal professionals to resolve property-related legal issues effectively and efficiently. The role is part of the Owners Corporations team, dealing with disputes in VCAT, County Court, and Supreme Court concerning Owners Corporation issues, building defects, adverse possession, easements, and general property disputes. Candidate Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience up to the senior associate level in Property Law, including advisory and litigation Strong litigation and dispute resolution skills Proficient in legal research, and preparing, and reviewing legal documents Excellent negotiation and courtroom representation skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team and manage client relationships Bachelor's degree in Law and admission to practice as a solicitor in Victoria
