What You’ll Be Doing Install, maintain, and fault-find on radio communication, CCTV systems, wireless networks, and IP networks . Configure and design IP networks, and support integration with mining and autonomous vehicle systems. Conduct RF active and passive site surveys to ensure robust comms coverage. Respond quickly to equipment issues, diagnose problems, and provide solutions. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and mine site teams to deliver critical comms projects. Support commissioning and start-up of new installations across mine sites. About You – What We’re Looking For Hands-on experience in any of the following: Rajant, Cambium, Cat Terrain/FMS, Modular, Motorola/Tait/Sepura radios, IP networking, or CCTV systems. Strong technical problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to fault-finding . Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork – you’ll thrive in demanding mine site environments. Certificate III or IV in Telecommunications or Electronics (highly regarded). Valid manual C-class driver’s licence and flexibility to relocate to Mackay. Bonus points if you bring: Rajant certification or experience. ACMA Open Licence (with fibre/coax endorsements). Cisco qualifications. Working at Heights / EWP licence, confined space experience.
