Due to an internal promotion, QSL is seeking to appoint a Terminal Supervisor, responsible for leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of trades people and operators, at QSL’s Mackay Bulk Sugar Terminal. You will be involved in asset management activities with varied maintenance and capital projects whilst maintaining production KPI’s within a collaborative and diverse group of internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Terminal Manager, key deliverables include; Leading and developing the team for optimal outcomes and performance Enhancing the culture through leading by example and upholding QSL’s values Building key internal and external relationships to deliver value and meet targets Effective scheduling and planning tasks, and contractor management Problem-solving, budgeting, data analysis and reporting Maintaining QSL’s safety culture and compliance ensuring the health and wellbeing of all team members, contractors and visitors. Maintaining and improving on HSE, production and maintenance KPI’s To be considered for this exceptional role you will have; An electrical trade background with good knowledge of maintenance and asset management systems and processes Leadership and team development experience in a similar role A QLD electrical license will be required. Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage and influence a range of key stakeholders Prior job scheduling and planning experience High emotional intelligence and be a self-starter Resilience and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment A passion for continuous improvement and a strong lens for Health, Safety and Environment A current driver’s license.
