Head of Property Management Location: Newstead, QLD About the Company Join a high-performing property investment firm based in Newstead, known for its client-focused approach and strong reputation in the market. The Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Property Management to lead our property management division. You will oversee a portfolio of 220 properties and manage a Junior Property Manager. This role requires a strategic thinker who is also happy to be hands-on in day-to-day operations. Key Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end management of a 220-property rent roll Lead, mentor, and support a Junior Property Manager Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants Monitor lease renewals, rent reviews, and arrears management Handle escalated maintenance issues and complex tenancy matters Ensure full compliance with legislation and company procedures Drive performance, KPIs, and service quality across the team Report directly to Directors and collaborate with other departments Assist with business growth and onboarding of new managements Requirements Proven experience in a Senior Property Manager or Head of Department role QLD Real Estate Certificate or License Strong knowledge of residential tenancy legislation Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Tech-savvy with experience using property management software (e.g., PropertyMe, Console, etc.) Ability to work autonomously and lead a team Benefits Competitive salary package: $105,000 Super Supportive and collaborative team environment Modern office in the heart of Newstead Opportunity to shape the direction of the property management division Long-term career progression within a growing investment firm To apply send your CV and Cover letter to Lauren Ostler: Lauren Ostler 0413 085 250 Lauren@ascendrecruit.com.au
