Location: Bondi Junction, NSW Type: 3 consecutive days of the week, Temporary (3 months) Company: Taximise (Boutique Accounting Firm) Preferred Start Date: 6 October 2025 Key Responsibilities As an Accounting & Tax Intern, you will assist the team in day-to-day operations and client-facing tasks, including: Supporting tax and accounting work under guidance from senior staff Using Xero and other accounting tools to maintain accurate records Preparing and reviewing basic financial documents and spreadsheets in Excel Drafting professional client communications in clear, polished English Assisting with administrative tasks and document management Maintaining high standards of professionalism in a client-facing environment Ideal Candidate We are seeking a committed, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a flexible, professional attitude. Minimum Requirements: Excellent command of spoken and written English (as we deal with clients on a daily basis) Studied Accounting and Tax in Australia Solid knowledge of Excel, Word, and Adobe Familiarity with Xero Well-presented and professional, able to maintain client-facing standards Common sense, reliability, and ability to follow instructions Reside close to Bondi Junction (Office location is 5 minutes from Bondi Junction Train Station) Able to commit to at least three consecutive days per week (Mon–Wed or Tue–Thu) for a continuous 3-month period The current office is temporarily re-located in a residential building Please note professionalism is highly required in all aspects of the role Pet-friendly, as the office has a well-trained Great Dane and Miniature Poodle The 3-month attendance period may be extended due to public holidays or missed days Why Join Taximise?
