The opportunityWe have an opportunity in our Adelaide Banking & Finance team for a candidate to join our highly regarded practice. You will be working within a market-leading team of motivated and skilled lawyers, led by Peter Staniszewski. Our team acts for all Big Four domestic banks, major non-bank lenders, overseas lenders, and significant corporate borrowers on bilateral, club, and syndicated lending across multiple industries. You will gain exposure to interstate work at a national level. This is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level and be a part of a growing practice. You'll be busy with:supporting the Banking and Finance partner across matters;mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals;maintaining strong relationships with key clients; andproviding advice to clients and internal teams. To succeed in this role, ideally, you'll have3 to 6 years post admission experience in banking and finance;strong experience in documenting lending transactions and advising on the PPSA;experience with settling transactions using PEXA;excellent communication skills;strong drafting skills;commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities; andfor more senior candidates, leadership skills and an interest in developing our up-and-coming junior cohort.
