Electrical Supervisor - Food Manufacturing (Maintenance) Location: Northern Suburbs | Morning Shift | $65-$70/hr | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity A leading and well-established food manufacturing company in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead maintenance operations on the morning shift . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team and secure a temp-to-perm role with excellent long-term prospects. The Role The Electrical Supervisor will oversee a small team of electricians while remaining hands-on with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and equipment. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily activities of the electrical maintenance team Perform and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance Lead electrical fault finding and troubleshooting Ensure minimal downtime and maximum plant efficiency Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives Ensure compliance with electrical safety and site standards Mentor and guide tradespeople and apprentices Collaborate with production and engineering teams Maintain accurate records in CMMS systems Ensure adherence to OHS, GMP, HACCP, and site policies About You Licensed A-Grade Electrician with relevant trade qualifications Previous supervisory or senior maintenance experience in food or FMCG Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and automation Excellent communication and leadership skills Hands-on, proactive approach with solid problem-solving abilities Competent in using CMMS systems Available to work morning shift on a full-time basis Forklift licence and additional qualifications are a plus What's On Offer $65-$70 per hour (based on experience) Full-time morning shift Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate Northern suburbs location with onsite parking Work for a respected and growing food manufacturing business
