The Sales Solutions Specialist is a key member of the sales and marketing team, responsible for engaging directly with clients to develop tailored identification solutions, prepare sales proposals, and support the transition from enquiry to delivery. This role requires a balance of sales acumen, technical understanding, and industry knowledge in warehousing and logistics, along with high-level Excel skills to manage data-driven quoting and planning. KEY OBJECTIVES: · Support the sales team in delivering tailored, technically sound client solutions· Drive customer engagement through high-quality communication and service· Prepare detailed proposals and costings to support new business opportunities· Convert technical data into actionable formats for production and installation· Drive new opportunities and support client retention through solution-based selling and a customer-first approach KEY OBJECTIVES: Client Engagement & Solution Selling - 65%· Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and propose effective warehouse identification solutions· Attend client meetings and site visits to conduct needs assessments and develop value-driven proposals· Prepare and deliver solution-focused proposals using internal tools· Convert racking layouts and client databases into usable formats to support quoting and production· Maintain CRM records and monitor sales pipeline activity· Provide product and solution guidance during the sales process· Support lead generation and conversion efforts through digital engagement Proposal Development & Data Preparation - 35%· Create internal documentation and artwork briefs for production and suppliers· Work closely with production to ensure client solutions are executed to spec· Perform data validation and preparation in Excel for precise quoting and labellingCoordinate smooth handover from sales to the production team Experience & Skills:· Minimum 2 years in a sales, sales support, or pre-sales role, ideally within warehousing, logistics, storage systems supply or a related industry· High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, formatting large datasets)· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging with clients at all levels· Experience working with CRM systems and sales process tools· Able to manage multiple priorities, self-driven with a team-oriented mindset· Comfortable interpreting technical information and translating it into clear client-facing documents· Creative problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to client support· Strong understanding of solution-based selling and ability to identify value for clients Qualifications:· Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Sales, or a technical field preferred· Valid Driver's License
