The Spinifex is an iconic hotel in the Kimberley. The “Spini” is a jewel in the crown of WA’s top end. About the Role : - Supporting the Head Chef in daily operations - Supervise and train kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and oversee all kitchen stations - Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet restaurant standards - Assist with menu and recipe development, inventory management, and ordering supplies - Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene - Step in to cook and manage service as needed, especially during busy periods Requirements : - At least 2 years’ experience as a Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role - Experience with a range of cuisines is highly regarded - Proven ability to manage busy services (200 covers) - Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills - Fluent English - In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices - Willing to relocate Location : Derby WA 6728 Salary : $75k-$85k Superannuation Penalty
